Car Line Drop Off Procedure
Doors will open at 8:45 AM/12:20 PM for the arrival procedure. Entrance door will be locked at 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Please have your child’s car line sign clearly displayed in your front window.
Late arrivals will need to be buzzed in at the Toddlers Campus Entrance door and escorted to classrooms by parents.
School Closure
Toddlers Campus will follow the decision of CUSD 200 regarding school closures. We do reserve the option to close if low temperature or road conditions are deemed unwise for small children to attend school.
Parents will be alerted via school email and classroom ClassDojo app for all unplanned or weather-related school closings
Potty Policy
Children enrolled in our 3’s, 4’s and Pre-K classes MUST be able to use the restroom independently. We understand that many children are still practicing independent potty skills, and will offer lots of encouragement towards independence.
In the event of any potty accidents, we have plenty of spare clothing at school, and will help your child clean up and get changed into clean, dry clothes. In rare instances, a parent or emergency contact will be called if the situation is greater than can be managed by the child independently.
Birthdays
Birthdays are so special to children! We would love to celebrate each child’s birthday or half birthday during the school year. You are welcome to provide a store-bought snack with a clear ingredient label to share with your child’s class at snacktime. Products made with nuts or processed in a facility with nuts may not be served in our classrooms.
Snacks and Water Bottles
Please do not send snacks or water bottles to school with your children! We will provide snacks and ample drinking water to your children each day.
Discipline
Discipline used at Toddlers Campus is gentle and age-appropriate, generally in the form of redirection. Choices are offered encouraging children to make appropriate decisions and take responsibility for their actions. We encourage a joint effort between the family and school if the above form of discipline is ineffective.
